Restaurant search & your information

BiteOnCue helps you find food and restaurants nearby.

Your food preferences, typed search location, meal budget, party size, and previously shown comments are saved in this browser. Clearing browser site data removes those preferences.

Using current location requires your browser’s permission. GPS coordinates are held in page memory and are not saved by BiteOnCue. When you request restaurant results, BiteOnCue sends the chosen food and search location to Google Maps through its server. The budget and party size are not sent by the in-app restaurant search. The separate Maps search link can include your food, location, radius, and per-person budget.

Restaurant responses are shown during your current search, not saved to BiteOnCue’s database or browser storage. Closing results clears the list. Cloudflare hosts BiteOnCue and provides a Turnstile security check before restaurant searches. The check processes connection and browser information under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. BiteOnCue briefly holds a hashed connection identifier and request counters in server memory to limit repeated searches; it does not write them to a database. Hosting and data providers may keep operational records under their own policies. BiteOnCue does not add analytics or advertising trackers.

When you submit feedback, your message, feedback type, optional answer about deciding faster, and optional reply email are sent privately to BiteOnCue through its email provider. Search location and budget are not attached. Feedback is not posted publicly and your reply email is not added to a marketing list. A submission identifier and a hash of the message are held briefly in server memory to reduce duplicate sends; feedback drafts are kept only in the open page until you submit, clear, or leave it.

Restaurant information may be incomplete or outdated. Distances are straight-line distances. Price information does not verify your final bill.
